With more than seventeen years of legal experience, including a decade spent in general civil litigation and mediation; he combines prior experience as a medical school professor, National Institute Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism (NIAAA) Fellow, and as a medical researcher with his legal expertise to provide a unique and expansive view to legal problems. A distinct advantage in cases involving bodily injuries from: motor vehicle accidents, medical malpractice and other catastrophic injuries. Dr. Mitchell has a Doctorate of Jurisprudence (J.D.) from the University of Tulsa and a Doctorate of Philosophy (Ph. D., physiology/pharmacology) from the University Of North Dakota School of Medicine. He is licensed to practice in all Oklahoma state courts, Muskogee (Creek) Nation Tribal Court, United States District Court (western, northern and bankruptcy), United States10th Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Court of Federal Claims. Dr. Mitchell is a certified mediator in family law and in general civil litigation.
